I am a young farmer, I am a “long-standing” olive grower. A craftsman. From generation to generation my family has always done this. It cultivated the land. With her I have established a visceral, different relationship. It is my nose, my heart, my mind, my palate.
Frantoio Dellorusso grows olive trees in Mariotto, Puglia. From the fruits of these majestic and strong trees creates, with craftsmanship and spirit of innovation, 100% Italian (or rather Apulian) extra virgin olive oil.
Cultivating, harvesting and pressing are the imperatives of the mill. Following the teachings of the family and the pursuit of quality, the mill presses only the fruit of its newly harvested land.

The Ogliarola Cultivar like Coratina, is the tree par excellence for Apulia, they coexist together and are an integral part of the landscape. The resulting extra virgin has a sweet, fruity taste of medium intensity with an almond aftertaste and presents in the finish a slight tingling and hints of apple, chicory and ripe fruit of medium intensity.
